Terms of use
Licence
DispCtrl is free and open-source software under the MIT Licence. You may use, copy, modify and redistribute it under those terms.
No warranty
It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The authors are not liable for any claim, damage or other liability arising from its use.
Your hardware
DispCtrl changes real hardware settings: monitor controls over DDC/CI, display modes, gamma and power. It only offers values a monitor reports it accepts, and never writes an undocumented code unless a reviewed definition marks it safe. Even so, monitors differ, and you use it at your own risk. A monitor's own menu, or DispCtrl's per-display reset, puts things back.
Donations
Donations are voluntary gifts to support development. They buy no licence, features, support contract or priority, and are not refundable.
Trademarks
Windows and Microsoft Store are trademarks of Microsoft. Monitor makers' names are used only to identify their products. DispCtrl is not affiliated with any of them.
